The Edmonton Nature Club was formed in 2004 when the Edmonton Natural History Club (founded 1959) and the Edmonton Bird Club (founded 1949) merged to become The Edmonton Nature Club.

The Edmonton Nature Club Endowment for Land Conservation and Stewardship:
The ENC recognizes habitat loss as a major issue impacting nature in our area. This fund pools together donations, both large and small, to help preserve local natural areas through the Edmonton and Area Land Trust.
